Going to Ga.

We have a meeting in atlanta Ga. this coming up Tuesday. The Home Depot (after 15 years of service) decided we need contracts! So they will be going over it with all of the assembly companys then. (btw, thats my secular job...the one paying me :). the last time all of the different assemblers got together it was a feeding frenzy and they actualy ate several of there managers! It wasnt pretty. I pray this time that we dont make thier job or lives any harder than it already is. The Home Depot, over all, has been a great blessing to me and my family and I want it to continue that way until Discovery Church can bring me on full time.

Pray for wisdom and respect all around for this meeting.

for those not in service or not reading the back of the program:

What’s with all of the “get _____ quick” stuff? Get rich quick, get thin fast, Get out of dept fast, have a better body in a month, all of this in just 15 minutes a day (and 3 easy payments of 19.99!)! Why do we think and believe that problems that took years to make can go away over night with little or no effort? What makes us think that a pill the size of a pencil eraser can get rid of weight that took years to gain? And how can spending my money on a get rich quick book get me rich? Unless it tells us to start selling “get rich quick” books, I don’t see it. What I am saying is; some things just take time...and effort. What’s instant is the decision and the dedication that we put into it. If you want fast results, get your photos at a 1/2 hour developer, other than that, plan on effort, hard work and commitment. Long term results are better and worth it, plus they are habit forming and prevent the fallbacks and rebounds. This works in our relationships also!

Have you ever heard: you get out of it what you put into it? What are you putting in to?

there you go Jim...I up dated it

Bloggidy blog, blog blog!

My senior pastor says 1 month is too long between blogs! Well he must be right, so here I blog. I never said I was good at this or even consistent but I try.
Anyway, I just got back from Tampa with my secular business and everything went great. I had 2 meetings and visited several of our accounts. I still have one meeting next week in Atlanta Ga. and I will be (so sadly) missing yet another staff meeting!
For those of you that were praying for my job…we got a one year contract so thank God for me! Now to get the prices up so we can pay our employees more J
